Jammed front door lock e36 1991 1999 home. Peace of mind starting at 15 per month. I physically attempted to move the lever over inside the car and it still won t open. Another variation occurs when the internal mechanism of the locks is frozen.

Front door lock jammed. My front door wouldn t unlock the other day. Its an ordinary mortice lock i think thats what its called it isn t a yale lock and something keeps stopping the key from turning to unlock the door from the inside but it seems to be fine if unlocked from the other side. It could be that the external section of the lock is frozen up which prevents you from even gaining access to the keyway.

New to the forum but have had my car since may 2008. One day out of the blue the front passenger side door didn t unlock while attempting to use the keyless entry. Anyone know whats happening here. Sat mar 28 2020 9 40 am.

Tried physically moving the latch and then trying to open from outside. E82 e87 e88 f20 1 series 2008 2014. Open enrollment ends 8 31. I m hoping that someone knows the cure for my problem front door lock.
